How microdermabrasion works

We use the DermaPod Turbo Flow System. It sends a circular, vortex-like flow of crystals across the skin to buff away the surface layer. This resurfacing triggers the skin's own repair process, helping it form new collagen and elastin fibres.

Royal Skin Rejuvenation Treatment

Many clients choose the Royal Skin Rejuvenation Treatment, which combines microdermabrasion with a facial in one visit. Microdermabrasion, photobiostimulation and microcurrent work together in three phases:

- Phase 1, microdermabrasion: the skin is resurfaced, so it becomes more receptive to the light and microcurrent
- Phase 2, lifting: a pulsating light is directed at the skin to stimulate its repair process and collagen production
- Phase 3, non-surgical facelift and product infusion: antioxidants and vitamin complexes are infused into the skin

A face treatment takes about 60 minutes, face, neck and décolleté about 75 minutes, and hands about 20 minutes.

How much is microdermabrasion in Vancouver?

At Vancouver Green Spa in downtown Vancouver, Microdermabrasion (face) is $85, face and neck is $90, face, neck and décolleté is $100 and hands is $45. The Royal Skin Rejuvenation Treatment (microdermabrasion + facial) is $120, and you can add a Collagen Cell Renewal Mask for $20.

What can microdermabrasion help with?

How many treatments will I need?

For marks left behind after acne, plan on 6 to 8 treatments spaced a week or 10 days apart. The skin renews itself about every 2 weeks on the face, so each session works with a fresh layer of skin.

Microdermabrasion or the Royal Skin Rejuvenation Treatment?

Microdermabrasion on its own is a focused exfoliation with a hydrating mask. The Royal Skin Rejuvenation Treatment adds LED photo therapy and a microcurrent treatment with product infusion, so it's a fuller facial in one 90-minute visit.
